It’s too late to become a new judge for the November 8 Election Day. LaSalle County Clerk Lori Bongartz says she doesn’t have any more classes for new judges. But you can sign up for the April 4 consolidated election.
An election judge must support one of the major political parties. He or she will work from just before the polls open to after they close and the election materials are turned in at the County Clerk’s Office. That’s about a 14-hour day.
