There’s still time to register and vote early at LaSalle County Clerks Office

With the General Election happening soon, LaSalle County Clerk Lori Bongartz is reminding residents that they can still register to vote and early vote at her office in the Etna Rd. Governmental Complex in Ottawa. You will also be able to register on Election Day at any of the 119 precincts. Residents will need to bring two forms of ID including one with the persons name and address and another to confirm your name. The office will be open Saturday, October 22nd from 8am to noon. For the week of the 24th the office is open from 8am to 4:30pm during the weekdays and eight to noon this next weekend. The week of Halloween the office will be open from 8am to 7pm and eight to noon on Saturday, November 5th. Her office will also be open on Sunday, November 6th from 10am to 4pm. On Election Day the office is open 8am-7pm again. Bongartz also says the last day the office will accept applications to Vote by Mail is Thursday, November 3rd.
