The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation is taking applications for art program support. Schools, libraries, and non-profit groups can apply for funds through December 1. The foundation has supplied $69,000 since 2019 for 39 projects through the Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund. Some of the recipients last season were Stage 212, the LaSalle County Historical Society, Poco a Poco, and the Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra. Grant announcements for this season will come in January.
