Construction projects closing Ottawa City Hall parking lot and railroad crossing at LaSalle and Fremont Streets

You won’t be able to park at the Ottawa City Hall parking lot for a few days. The city says contractors will repave the parking lot starting Monday and no one will be allowed to park in the lot during that time. That project should be done by mid-week depending on the weather. The city also says drivers won’t be able to use the intersection of LaSalle and Fremont Streets for a week. Contractors will install a new water main line which requires boring under the railroad crossing. That project starts at six am on Monday morning.
