Coronavirus weekly report: two fatal cases while current cases drop again

Coronavirus recoveries have outnumbered new cases in LaSalle County for 12 weeks in a row. That brings the current case count down to 917 in this week’s LaSalle County Health Department report. But there were two more fatal cases and the patients were younger than most who succumb to the virus. The health department says a woman in her 30’s and a man in his 50’s died from it. The fatal case count is now 494 out of 34,383 cases altogether.
