LaSalle County townships and cities getting money from last installment of Rebuild Illinois funds

Some of the $250 million final payment from Gov. Pritzker’s Rebuild Illinois program is coming to every township and twenty-three cities in LaSalle County. The townships are receiving a total of about $797,000 with the Osage Township getting the most. It’s receiving about $35,000. The cities are getting about $900,000. Some cities like Ottawa are getting $206,000, Streator is getting about $150,000, Peru is getting about $113,000, LaSalle is getting about $105,000, and Marseilles is getting about $55,000. Some improvement projects could include road and bridge improvements, sidewalk replacements, and other long term maintenance needs.
