Motorcycle crash in Seneca claims Chicago man’s life

A motorcycle crash in Seneca claimed the life of a Chicago man two weeks ago. Grundy County Coroner John Callahan says the motorcycle of 69-year old Eulalio Contreras was found by friends last Friday in a south ditch on U.S 6 east of a trailer park. Callahan says Contreras was ejected from the bike and was found dead near the area of the bike. Contreras’s family had reported him missing after he left a bar in Seneca in the afternoon of September 17th. Video footage from a business showed Contreras on the bike around 5:25 that evening. Callahan says the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
