Streator updating five year road plan

Several roads in Streator will be redone over the next five years. City Engineer Jeremy Palm updated the city council about the plan. By next year Palm says West 3rd Street to Kelly Street will be cape sealed. By 2026 the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Baker Street and the 100 through 600 blocks of Boys Street will get overlay. The 1300 and 1400 blocks of N. Everett St. and 600 and 700 blocks of Ralph Plumb St. will get overlay by 2027. The five year plan also includes the 1000 through 1300 blocks of Kent Street being completely redone.
