A two-and-a-half hour Crop Research Field Day will be held at the Oglesby campus of Illinois Valley Community College Friday. It’s free and the public’s invited. The plan is to teach about what crop science IVCC teaches and participates in. Educators, some from the University of Illinois Extension, will teach about drones used in farming, corn and soybean varieties, and pests.
