A person was taken from a home in the 1700 block of Sycamore in Ottawa yesterday afternoon into police custody. Detective Corporal Kevin Reynolds says the person barricaded himself or herself inside the house and threatened to hurt the police who were there. Attempts to negotiate with the person didn’t work, at first. Eventually, police left with him or her without any further trouble.
