The LaSalle County Tax Sale Agent is taking sealed bids for 192 pieces of real estate and 30 mobile homes. The owners of the land and buildings are behind on property taxes since 2018 or earlier. The mobile home owners have been late since 2019 or before.
Individual properties may be worth more or less, but the minimum bids are $818 for real estate and $905 for mobile homes. The county hopes buyers clean up, repair, or rebuild.
Let the buyer beware. Hazards and contamination become the new owner’s problem.
