The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team lately has been arresting a lot of people allegedly connected to the Streator drug dealing scene. Five people were arrested since last Thursday and one person wanted after the investigation was already in jail on an unrelated charge.
They are 36-year old Vernon Andrews, 27-year old Shawna Stevenson, 46-year old Alterida Phillips, 35-year old Leodies Jordan III, 39-year old Steven D. Bottoms, and 24-year old Tyshawn D. Stewart. All are from Streator, except for Stewart, who’s from Riverdale. He’s the defendant who was already jailed. All are accused of dealing cocaine, except for Bottoms, who’s charged with selling methamphetamine.
