Second person involved in mob action in Ottawa last year pleads guilty

An Ottawa man pleaded guilty Wednesday to beating up a girl and a boy in the area of Woodward Memorial and Albin Stevens Drive in Ottawa last year. 20-year old Damien Kwit was given two and a half years of probation for his role in the incident. Kwit pleaded guilty to two counts of battery while a mob action charge was dropped. One of the other alleged attackers, 21-year old Kyle Prince was picked up by police in August after he missed a January court date. He’ll be back in court on September 15th. The third man , Fernando Martinez was sentenced to three and a half years in prison in January.
