Make the restrooms look better and move the dumpsters are some of the suggestions the public gave at an Allen Park plan meeting at Ottawa City Hall last night. The city’s taking input to apply for a park redesign grant next month.

Another man in the audience suggested having hose hookups to more easily water plants on the hill.
Andy Howard of Hitchcock Design Group, hired to help the city, says not all of the suggestions will qualify for help under the state’s Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development grant. But they can be part of a bigger plan.
