Renee Ann Ainsley, 52 of Streator passed away Monday morning (August 29, 2022) at her home.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home and Friday from 11 AM until 12noon at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday at noon. Renee was born on March 22, 1970, in Chicago. She was the daughter of Michael and Roseann (Liss) Ragusa. She married John Ainsley on November 30, 2013. He survives.
Also surviving are children, Scott (Olivia Magana) Hays, Anthony Cunningham, Ashley and Justin Ainsley all of Streator, grandchildren, Ariella, Papito, Hawk, and Bear, mother Roseann Ragusa of Streator, sister Kim (Brad Washkowiak) Ragusa of LaSalle, niece Alayna Washkowiak, mother-in-law Diane Ainsley of Foley, AL, brothers-in-law, Dave (Sue) Ainsley of Streator and Mike Ainsley of Foley, AL, sister-in-law Ann Nichols of Foley, AL, grandmother Audrey Ainsley of Foley, AL, uncles, Ray (Anita) Liss of Marion, IL, Chris (Cheri) Ragusa of East Peoria, aunt Debbie Ragusa of Streator, several nieces and nephews and a special friend who never left her side these last four months, Lori Fechter of Festus, MO.
Renee is preceded in death by her father Michael Ragusa, father-in-law Robert Ainsley, maternal grandparents Eugene and Katherine Liss and a nephew Brett Ainsley.
Renee was the former contract manager for Illinois Central School Bus, Streator. She worked most recently at the Ottawa Walmart.
Renee attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1988 and she had attended IVCC.
