One goal of the Children’s Business Fair in Ottawa earlier this month was to gets kids interested in running their own businesses when they grow up. Ana-Elisa Scheick sold handmade jewelry. She can see herself owning a business as an adult. But she’s going to the moon first.
Some of the kids weren’t so sure about it though. Aanya Agarwal says she might keep making crafts as a hobby but isn’t thinking about it as her full-time adult vocation.
Ottawa seventh grader Dixie Smick isn’t sure either. She says maybe.
The things the children sold included jewelry, plants, and time at a Nerf shooting range.
