The Prairie Fox Books Children’s Business Fair will be from 10am to 2pm Saturday, August 13 in Ottawa’s Washington Park. Organizer Dylan Conmy says 22 businesses are signed up, ready to be judged for prizes. Some are run by one person, others by teams. They had to develop marketing plans, budgets, logos, and more.
He’s already planning for a second event next year. Conmy hopes the kids become the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
