So many people registered for the Trevor Till memorial 5K run-walk last year, Till’s mom is trying to accommodate them a day before the event this year. Last year’s race results show 377 participants. Lisa Moore says 130 of them registered the day of the event. Moore says this year’s race is this Saturday at Seneca High School and people will be able to pick up their packets on Friday evening.
It’s $25 or $30 to register for the race, depending on whether you register early or on the day of the event. The money supports scholarships and other programs in memory of Trevor Till, who died from suicide two years ago. Moore says pay close attention to your children.
