Woman recovering after tree falls on her at campground

A Buffalo Grove woman was hurt when a dead ash tree snapped and fell on her at a campground northwest of Utica. Conservation Sgt. Phil Wire says the 20-year old woman’s husband and child had just left the table Saturday afternoon. The tree snapped from about 20 feet up and crashed. The woman has injuries to her right arm and pelvis. And she’s hurt internally. She was flown to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. That happened at Starved Rock Campground.
