An Ottawa man is charged with threatening a public official in LaSalle County. Court records show 31-year old Ryan A. Rhodes is accused of making threatening comments about a judge on March 11th. A warrant was issued in April.
Sheriff Adam Diss says Rhodes was arrested in Estes Park, Colorado earlier this month. He arrived at the LaSalle County jail Thursday. Rhodes told Judge H. Chris Ryan he intends to hire a private attorney. He’s to be in court again on August 5th.
