Probation ordered after restroom spy camera case

An Oglesby man is beginning two-and-a-half years on probation for hiding a spy camera in a restroom at a Peru business a year-and-a-half ago. Thirty-two year old Drew M. Meredith must also pay nearly $2,100 in fines and costs. He pleaded guilty Thursday before Judge Cynthia Raccuglia to making unauthorized videos. Prosecutors haven’t said publicly what business Meredith set up the camera in or how many people may have been captured on video.
