The LaSalle County Health Department reported no new fatal coronavirus cases during the past week. The figure holds at 385 out of 32,191 cases so far for a local mortality rate of 1.5%.
There were 259 new cases since last Friday and 207 recoveries. So the number of current cases went up, but that new case figure is lower than last week’s 298. The numbers show 1,531 current cases.
And the county moved back down to the medium community spread. It was high last week and low the week before.
