Cindy Marie Williams, age 53, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
Cindy was born November 5, 1972 in Ottawa, the daughter of Kenny and Betty (Durbin) Phelps. Cindy is survived by her mother Betty Schillings; her fiancé, Mark Smith; children, Savana Phelps and Sean Phelps; and grandchildren, Julien Owens, Jr., Corinne Magina and Simone Magina. She was preceded in death by her father; Step-father Stephen Schillings; grandparents Harold and Lillian Sibley; and a son Adrian Phelps.
Cindy worked as a caretaker for the elderly. She enjoyed doing craft work particularly with her Cricut and taking care of the plants and flowers in her garden. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who dearly loved her.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12th followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 p.m. at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the family would be most appreciated.
