Timothy Raymond Feltes, 71, of Ottawa

Timothy Raymond Feltes, 71, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on October 13, 1954 to Robert and Jeannette (Wennmacher) Feltes. Timothy married Carol (Urbanski) Feltes in Spring Valley on June 20, 1981. They built a life together in Ottawa, and shared 45 years of marriage. He will be deeply missed. Timothy loved farming and the agriculture industry, as well as gardening. Timothy earned a Bachelor’s degree in dairy science from UIUC, and did post-graduate work in agriculture economics. He worked in the seed corn industry for PAG Seeds, Cargill Hybrid Seeds, and Mycogen Seeds, from which he retired. Timothy is survived by his wife, Carol; his siblings, Diane Feltes, John (Anita) Feltes, Ron (Judy) Feltes, Jeff (Trish Craig) Feltes, and Kris (Greg) Englin; as well as many nieces, nephes, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Per Tim’s wishes, no funeral services have been planned at this time. The burial will be private and take place at a later date. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.
