Connie Darlene (Treest) Waite, 72, of Oglesby, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at her home.
A private graveside service will be held at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Connie was born on September 9, 1953 in Aurora to Vernon and UV (Shettles) Treest. She was a graduate of Ottawa High School class of 1972. She worked for Snap-On Tools for 26 years and then Utica Post Office rural delievery for 15 years. Connie married Randy Waite on October 16, 1981 in Deer Park. She loved camping, fishing, traveling and her pets.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Waite of Oglesby; two children, Kira and Austin Waite; a sister, Wanda Cheryl York and a niece, Elizabeth both of Bowling Green, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and UV Treest.
