Donetta (Davidson) Spohr, 93, of Ottawa, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Pleasant View Lutheran Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Phillip Potaczek, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday, at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa

Donetta was born on March 14, 1933 in Galesburg, IL to Andrew and Hazel (Lee) Davidson. She married Wayne Spohr on February 15, 1953 at First Methodist Church in Ottawa. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Donetta taught Sunday School at Zion Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Beth Williamson of Ottawa and Amy Jayne (Ray) Kasper of Westchester; three grandchildren, Amanda (Terry) Muffler, Jacob Williamson, and Elizabeth Williamson; two great-grandchildren, Lilia and Liam Muffler; and a sister, Hallie (Doug) Sergeant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, on May 22, 2019, her brother Robert Davidson; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or Zion Lutheran Church.
