Joshua Russell Rice, 44, of Ottawa, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with Rev. Sally Rutledge-Ott, officiating. A private burial will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa at a later date. A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Joshua was born on November 20, 1981 in Ottawa to Bob and Lynn (Serby) Rice. He worked as a warehouseman for Amazon. Joshua was an avid golfer, loved uchre, and going fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Lynn Rice; his two brothers, Jeremiah and Justin Rice; and two nieces, Jaclyn and Joclyn.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Anne Serby, Maxine Rice; an aunt, Marjorie Nobile; and an uncle, Bill Serby.
