Patricia Weygand, 86, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, from 10:00am until 11:30am at St. Columba Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30am with Msgr. Mark Merdian officiating. Burial will follow at St. Columba Cemetery.
Pat was born January 25, 1939 in Sandwich, IL to Alvin and Harriet (O’Neil) Johnson. She married George “Jeep” Weygand on January 11, 1954. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1980. Pat owned and operated Pat Weygand Tax and Accounting. She was a member of the Earlville Country Club and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was a very strong woman of faith. She was the proud grandma of 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, with whom she had a unique and special relationship with each and every one of them.
She is survived by her children, Barb (Michael) Crowley, Jo Ann (Mickey) Lawsha, Michael (Sharon) Weygand, Susan Weygand, and Dawn (Christopher) Rorem; her 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; as well as her sister, Judy Gulley. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Harriet; her husband, George; her daughters, Kathy Weygand and Elizabeth (Mark) Barron; her grandson, Brian; her brother Charles; and her sister, Sharon.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to LaSalle County Nursing Home, St. Columba Church, or having masses in her honor.
