Gail (Wise) Daleo, 89, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
In lieu of services, the family will be gathering for a private celebration of Gail’s life. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Gail was born on May 1, 1936 in Ottawa to Daniel Howard and Marie Johanna (Kormelink) Wise. She loved her family and friends, pottery, art, and animals of all kinds.
She is survived by two children, Jeff (Pam) Purcell and Julie (Purcell) Ferguson; her first husband, Robert Purcell; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Wise; her mother Marie Sage; son, Mike Purcell; step-son, Scott Daleo; and son-in-law David Ferguson.
