Julita (Perez) Vargas, 55, of Ottawa, passed away on Wednesday July 16, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa with Rev. Patrick Wille, officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m.until the time of service at the funeral home.
Julita was born on February, 16, 1970 in Mexico to Salvador Perez Velazquez and Maria Luisa Oliva Arellano. She married Rafael Vargas in Mexico and they have been happily married for 38 years. Julita loved to cook for her family. She was very lovable, caring, and enjoyed being Mamá Juli to everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Rafael Vargas; two sons, Brayan (Cuquis) Vargas, Cristo Vargas; three grandchildren, Alison Vargas, Brayan Vargas, Xander Vargas; three brothers; and six sisters;
She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Oliva Perez Muñoz.
