Clifford Andrew Wignes, 60, of Miller Township, passed away peacefully on Monday June 23, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with his family by his side.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 26 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Community of Christ Church, 2769 N 3350th Rd in Miller Township with Rev. Tami Perryman officiating. Burial will be in Section Cemetery.
He was born on July 18, 1964 to Lyle and Mary (Polen) Wignes. He was so proud to be a triplet.
Clifford was a member of Community of Christ Church, where he served as a Deacon. He recently retired after 40 years as a custodian at Milton Pope Grade School. He was an avid collector of toy trucks and fire trucks. He enjoyed going and cheering on all his nieces and nephews at all their sporting events. He so loved life and everyone he came in touch with and enjoyed a good conversation with everyone he met.
He is survived by his mother, Mary; his siblings, Jeff (Cheryl) Wignes, Cheri (Scott) Holman, Clarence Wignes, and Cindy (Kevin) Miller; his nieces and nephews, Brian (Abby) Holman, Justin (Jessica) Holman, Brad (Kate) Wignes, Jessica (Schuyler) Parks, Jill Wignes, Paige McIntire, Clarissa Wignes, and CJ Wignes; and his great-nieces and nephews, Quinn, Kacie, Teagan, Camden, and Karsyn Holman, Beau Wignes, James David, and Hallie Parks; and his favorite niece dog, Sunshine Miller, who always made him laugh and smile.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Wignes.
Pallbearers will be Brad and CJ Wignes, Scott, Brian, and Justin Holman, and Kevin Miller.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be disbursed to charitable organizations.
