Bonnie (Atwood) Tollefson, 74, of Medford, OR, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Asante Rouge Regional Medical Center, in Medford.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Andrews Cemetery in Farm Ridge, IL. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Bonnie was born on January 23, 1951 in Streator, IL to Roy and June (Tress) Atwood. She received her BS from Bradley University, her BA from Bellevue University, and her MLS from Emporia State University. She worked as a Librarian for many years. Bonnie married Mark Tollefson on August 17, 1973 in Grand Ridge, IL.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; two children, Markus (Katherine) Tollefson and Marie (Matthew) Charton; four grandchildren Aurelia Tollefson, Nathaniel Charton, Rosalynd Charton, and Adeline Charton; and one brother Roy (Holly) Atwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
