Brian was born February 25, 1960, in Joliet, to Earl and Phyllis (Veatch) Morris. On July 18, 1980, he married the love of his life, Donna Cochran, of Chicago and went on to have three daughters.
Brian started his career with Laborer’s Union Local 96 in 1997. He then continued his career, joining the Pipefitters Union Local 501, and finally retiring as a 597 Pipefitter in 2020.
Brian was a lover of all things outdoors. He took pride in his yard and keeping his koi pond clear. He enjoyed fishing in his favorite place, Alaska! Brian loved to travel with his wife, Donna, where they spent their winters in Florida with the great friends they made. His most recent love was the game of pickleball. Anywhere they traveled, he was playing pickle and dominating the court.
Brian was a member of the Heritage Christian Center in Ottawa. Brian’s love for the Lord was evident. Everyone who knew him could see the light of Jesus in him. He touched so many lives just by sharing the Gospel. Brian was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, brother, son, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. His grandkids were his world.
