Vince Bernardini, Jr., 75, of Ottawa, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Rev. John Walker, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Ottawa, officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery in Ottawa.

Vince was born on August 14, 1950 in Ottawa to Venansio and Jean (Perrot) Bernardini. He was a proud graduate of Ottawa Township High School. In December of 1976, Vince

married the love of his life, Vickie (Lyle), at St. Mary’s Church in Naplate, marking the

beginning of a devoted partnership. For 45 years, Vince dedicated his professional life to Libbey Owens Ford, where he was a valued and respected employee. Outside of work, Vince found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished family fishing trips, cultivating his garden, and embarking on memorable motorcycle journeys to Sturgis with Vickie. Vince will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his passion for his hobbies.

He is survived by a son, Nicholas Ryan Bernardini of Ottawa; and two brothers Mario (Debbie) Bernardini of Peru and David Bernardini of Broomfield, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Vickie.
