John Kelly, 67, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, surrounded by his family and dear friend Gina Crain.
A Graveside service will take place at St. Columba Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
John was born on December 5, 1957 in Ottawa to Michael and Elizabeth (Cosgrove) Kelly. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School, class of 1976. John was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, and he always enjoyed the Music in the Park.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherry (Robert) Baldwin of Vincent, OH; two grandsons, Landon and Kaleb Baldwin; four sisters, Mary Jett, Jean Halm, Karen, Curtis all of Ottawa, and Sharon Michael of San Antonio, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Mickey, and a sister Barbara.
