Carol Jean Reinecke, 62, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 5:00pm.
Carol was born May 25, 1962, in Chicago, IL, to Russell and Betty (Waiting) French. She married Timothy Reinecke on May 21, 1999.
Carol loved her family more than anything. She would spend as much time with her children and grandchildren as she could. She was a great cook and baker and frequently shared her treats with her family. She was a first lieutenant in the JROTC in high school and loved Elvis Presley and Princess Dianna.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy; her daughters, Angie, Carli, Cheryl, and Gina; her grandchildren, Jacob, Dakota, Madden, Cooper, Toby, Colton, Thea, and Callum; and her siblings, Allen French and Jean Fox.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Betty; her son, Alexnader Soto; and her brothers, Russell French and William French.
