Ann (Maierhofer) Bowers, 85, of Ottawa, passed away on January 7, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
Cremation rites were accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Ann was born on October 24, 1939 in Ottawa to LeRoy and Rose (Habeck) Maierhofer. She was a graduate of Marquette High School, class of 1958. Ann married Thomas E. Bowers on November 7, 1959 at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa. She loved spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.
She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Bowers of Ottawa; a daughter-in-law, Julie (Kory) Bowers-Kettman, three granddaughters, Katelynn (Michael) Fleming, Lauren Bowers, and Elyse Bowers; and two great grandchildren, Willow Harden and Tate Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; a son, Michael; a son-in-law, John; two sisters, Rosemary Wallem and Rita Wernstrum; and a brother, George Maierhofer.
