Martha J. Boaz, 92, of Marseilles, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at The Pavilion on Main in Sandwich.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, November 9 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Troy Tvrdik officiating. Burial will be Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
Martha was born on March 18, 1932, in LeRoy, IL, to Elmo Arthur and Mary Susan (Luscaleet) Hosler. On April 23, 1950, she married Alfred Boaz of Ellsworth, IL who survives.
She was employed by Marathon Electric, Lee Café, and as a crossing guard for Marseilles Elementary School for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Marseilles Lioness Club.
Martha is survived by her husband, Alfred; five sons, Mike (Susan), Randy (Diane), Bruce (Debra) and Brad (Cindy), all of Marseilles and Brian (Lori) of Rockford; sixteen, grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale (Maria) of Fresno, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Kathy Ann and Marcia; three grandsons, Keifer, Joshua, and Bruce Lee; and seven sisters.
