Cynthia A. Arbisi, 78, of La Salle passed away October 23, 2024 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday October 26 at St. Hyacinth’s Church in La Salle with the Very Rev. Thomas Otto officiating. Burial will be at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle has been entrusted with her arrangements.
Mrs. Arbisi was born in Ottawa on August 28, 1946 to Bernard and Loretta (Twohey) Graham. She married Ronald Arbisi on September 24, 1966. She worked as secretary to the City of La Salle Mayor’s Office from 1985 until 2012. Mrs. Arbisi was a 1964 graduate of Marquette High School. She was a member of the La Salle Library Board. She was a CCD teacher at St. Roch’s Church. She enjoyed attending activities of her grandsons. She also enjoyed cooking, painting, and was an avid reader.
Mrs. Arbisi is survived by her husband Ron of La Salle; two sons Jon (Sue) Arbisi of La Salle and Tim Arbisi of Augusta, GA; four grandchildren Evan, Drew, Gavin, and Morgan Arbisi; two brothers Patrick (Janet) Graham of Ottawa and Michael (Patti) Graham of Ottawa; and one brother-in-law Donald Arbisi of Dalzell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
