On Sunday, August 25, 2024, at approximately 1515 hours the Mendota Police Department responded to 722 Main St for a report of a report of a battery. After a brief investigation, Lamirand Scott, 33, 722 Main St, was arrested for Battery. Lamirand was cited and released on scene with a mandatory court date.

On Sunday, August 25, 2024, at approximately 1929 hours the Mendota Police Department responded to 916 Main St for a 911 call with reported screaming in the background. After a brief investigation, Fredy M Balderas, 23, 916 Main St, was arrested for Domestic Battery. Fredy was arrested and transported to the Lasalle County jail where he will see a judge.
