Tyshawn Doyle of Streator was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force. He is charged with Armed Habitual Criminal and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm in relation to a shooting that occurred in the Streator City Park on July 20, 2024. On that day, officers responded to a shooting and located one male subject with gunshot wounds. Officers discovered that this subject had been involved in a fight with another male subject which escalated into the shooting. During the investigation, officers recovered the suspect’s vehicle and two handguns. Additionally, as a result of the investigation, Jaleel Berry of Streator was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon. The Streator Police Department would like to thank Inv. LeBeau, LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office, FBI, LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police, Illinois Department of Corrections, and the U.S. Marshals Service for assisting in this investigation.
