Tyshawn Doyle of Streator was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force. He is charged with Armed Habitual Criminal and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm in relation to a shooting that occurred in the Streator City Park on July 20, 2024. On that day, officers responded to a shooting and located one male subject with gunshot wounds. Officers discovered that this subject had been involved in a fight with another male subject which escalated into the shooting. During the investigation, officers recovered the suspect’s vehicle and two handguns. Additionally, as a result of the investigation, Jaleel Berry of Streator was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon. The Streator Police Department would like to thank Inv.
