On August 20, 2024, at approximately 0005hrs the Mendota Police Department conducted a traffic stop near Rt 34 and Interstate 39. As a result of this traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle, John H. Larson, 39, of 532 Ashland Ave, Saint Paul MN, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, one headlight, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. The passenger, Maxwell Seabury, 24, of 133 Hillsdale Dr., Hendersonville TN was found to have a valid failure to appear arrest warrant for driving with a revoked license, issued by Williamson County TN. Seabury was arrested and charged with fugitive of Justice, possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Larson and Seabury were transported to the LaSalle County Jail.
