The City of Ottawa, in collaboration with Bill’s Barktoberfest event committee, is excited to announce a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the highly anticipated new city dog park. The event will take place on Thursday, August 15th at 10:00 AM at the future site of the dog park, located at 401 East Lafayette Street.

This special ceremony will mark the beginning of a new chapter for Ottawa’s canine community. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the unveiling of the park’s official name and hear about the exciting features and amenities that will make this park a premier destination for dog lovers and their furry friends.

“We are thrilled to introduce this new space dedicated to our four-legged residents,” said City of Ottawa Commissioner Marla Pearson. “This park will provide a wonderful environment for dogs to play, socialize, and enjoy their time outdoors.”

We invite everyone to join us for this milestone event and be among the first to learn about what’s in store for the city’s new dog park.
