James T. Simcich 89, of Ottawa, passed away peacefully Friday, August 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his wife MaryAnn, his siblings John Simcich, Marie Helgeson, and Eleanor Lyman, he is survived by two daughters, four grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. James served in the military and was an employee of Libby Owens Ford in Naplate, IL for over 40 years.
Per James’s wishes a private funeral service will be held at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller funeral Home in Ottawa.
