Yvonne A. (Thomas) Price, 80, of Ottawa, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Mueller funeral Home in Ottawa with Msgr. Mark Merdian, Pastor of Ottawa Catholic Parishes, officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place ta Oakwood Memorial Park, on a later date.
Yvonne was born on February 4, 1944 in Ottawa to Reuben J. and Margaret J. (Gribbins) Thomas. She married Jack Price on July 6, 1962 at St. Patrick Church in Ottawa. Yvonne enjoyed collecting stamps, and loved spending time with and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; two children, Bill (Kim) Price of Beloit, WI and Jackie (Jon) DeWalt of Ottawa; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Thomas, and three sisters, Marlene Polancic, Betty Gainey, and Helen Sheridan.
