Emily Hardee’s “Run Today for Tomorrow 5K” represents one of more than 100 funds held by the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation. This year’s run/walk on June 22 in Ottawa benefits the Molly Lenora Yacko Memorial Scholarship at SRCCF. The Foundation is hosting its first online Giving Day May 2. The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation will celebrate its first online Giving Day on Thursday, May 2. Contributions help sustain SRCCF’s administrative functions, strengthen its ability to serve local nonprofits, and enable it to expand services across La Salle, Bureau, and Putnam counties.

The Foundation offers scholarships and advances mental health initiatives, local history, fine arts, local theatre, downtown revitalization, disaster relief and more.
