Ronald C. Kesner, 71, of Marseilles, passed away on April 1, 2024, at his home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Troy Tvrdik, of Marseilles First Baptist Church officiating.
He was born on October 20, 1952, in Ottawa, IL to Otis and Helen (Ott) Kesner. On May 6, 1978 he married Kim Thomas of Marseilles who survives.
Ronnie was employed by Caterpillar in Aurora for 38 years until his retirement. He loved farming, handyman work, fishing and his grandchildren.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Kim; his daughters, Gina Benedict of Phoenix, AZ, and Shayla (Eric) Woodin of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Charlotte Benedict, Aaron and Archer Woodin; his sister, Connie McPherson of Independence, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sandra in infancy.
Pallbearers will be Eric Woodin, Dustin Spencer, Bobbie and Brian Thomas, and John Aquino.
