Benjamin Samuel Otstott, 23, of Seneca (formerly of Plainfield), passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 16, 2024, just before his Golden Birthday

A Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Casual attire is suggested.

Benjamin was born at home on March 24, 2000, in Naperville to Edward Thomas and Anne Kristine (Stewart) Otstott. He enjoyed everything outdoors; Hiking, sky diving, cliff jumping, snowboarding, gardening, running, and his dog Archie. He also loved reading. Benjamin’s passions were his nieces, nephews, and Jesus.

He is survived by his parents; four siblings, Eddie (Diana) Otstott, Katie (Dillon) Gloster, Emily (Simon) Rivera, and Jonny Otstott; his maternal grandparents, John D. (Pamela) Stewart II and Patricia A. Heyn; his paternal grandfather, Edward R. (Rebecca) Otstott; his nieces and nephews, Henry, Jordy, Allison, Clay, Jacey, and Eli; and his best friend, Antonio Hayden, along with numerous cousins, friends and teammates.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sharon Otstott.
