LaSalle County Health Department issue its final weekly COVID update.

Effective March 28th, the LaSalle County Health Department (LCHD) will issue its final weekly COVID update.  As we near the end of respiratory virus season, and the first anniversary of the declaration ending the national and public-health emergency for COVID-19 (5/11/23), the department will no longer be updating its website and social media pages with this information. LCHD will continue to monitor and track COVID-19, as we do with all reportable diseases. Keeping the public informed is very important to us. If things change or we feel that, based on current conditions, a return to reporting is necessary, we will adjust accordingly. Currently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updates the COVID-19 County Check weekly.
