(Memphis, TN) — A suspect in Memphis who was under police surveillance is in jail after stopping for gas while trying to flee police. Deandre Rodgers had outstanding warrants when he tried to flee police at a high rate of speed before stopping for gas. Rodgers was surrounded by police at a Kroger gas station and took off on foot before being arrested in a KFC parking lot on February 21st. Rodgers was booked into Shelby County Jail on several charges on Monday.
